FWIW, my macs downloaded a couple tasks yesterday. Or at least they tried to. The tasks failed with "error while downloading".

Same here, and I've got the same WU twice twice, 2 x 96 and 2 x 97. You should set the right flag in the scheduler to forbid that.

Please post the progress of your "testing" so those of us who have joined your project are kept informed.
That is the basic rule of "community" computing. Keeping the community involved. If you look up most of us in other BOINC projects, you will see that we are quite willing to use our PC's, MAC's, and Linix boxes and our own electricity to perform science work.
